The Bucket List

Earlier this football season, Wade saw an opportunity... I saw exhaustion!  Wade said he has always wanted to to attend two major college football games in one day.  It was something on his bucket list so-to-speak.  It just so happened that my Auburn Tigers were playing Clemson at Clemson the same day that Wade's University of South Carolina Gamecocks were playing Navy at home.  As Wade's luck would have it... the Auburn game was at noon, and the USC game was at 7:15!

He was like a kid on Christmas morning thinking about how much fun it would be to see BOTH of our teams play OTHER teams on the SAME DAY in the SAME STATE.  I humored him, and we did it.... and slept the next day.... Here are some pictures from our bucket list adventure!

Proof we made it to Game One.  Whew!

We had to hurry, hurry, hurry to make it to game two.  The quickest way was to jump on the field and walk up the hill, so we did!

Just in time! Made it to the USC game two minutes post kick off.

We even stopped at the house to change clothes and let the doggies out.  I am already exhausted in this picture!

Midshipmen

"What is this crazy picture" you say.  This is what the on-call person looks like when you call On-Star when your husband runs out of gas on the highway (see the car zipping by) as you are exiting off the exit ramp.... AFTER the wife says "you probably need to stop and get gas", and the hubby doesn't listen.  This was on the way home from church the day after the two for one Kay College Game Day experience.

It looks like he is getting arrested here.  No - just signing the paperwork.  This is about the look that he had on his face when he, the operator of the car, said "How is this my fault".  We laugh today.  The day this picture was taken, after two football games, not so funny!

All in all we had a great weekend and a VERY restful Sunday afternoon!!
