Wade and I go to the fair every year. It is one of our traditions. We were fortunate this year! Wade's hard work at BCBSSC paid off. The top performers in his department got admission for two to the fair along with 24 ride tickets. This allowed us to go on four rides, which was just the right amount. We rode the tilt-a-whirl. I laughed and laughed and BELLY laughed as we went round and round! We rode the ferris wheel, mad mouse roller coaster and the sky buckets.
There was a really neat elephant show show that we watched. We also watched the pig race which was a-dor-a-ble! The Port Authority from NJ had a tent set up with 9/11 wreckage and pictures. That was very emotional to walk through.
Of course we enjoyed the indoor exhibits that were set up. A trip to the fair would not be complete without an elephant ear either! Here are a few picture from our trip this year.
