Wade's birthday was a month ago today! He is getting older by the minute! Tee hee hee. I don't really have much room to talk. The big 3-0 is creeping up on me very quickly. We had a very nice celebration with just the two of us. I got him a shirt from one of his most favorite stores, Southern Tide and took him on a surprise dinner.
We ate at a new restaurant in Downtown Columbia called Cowboy's. It is a Brazilian Steakhouse, and definitely a "man" restaurant.
The way the food is served is similar to buffet style. There are gauchos who come around to the tables with big skewers with large amounts of slow cooked meat on them. If you like the type of meat the have, they will cut you off a piece to enjoy. This is why I said it is a man restaurant. The food was delicious. There is also a hot bar with veggies and a cold bar with salad choices and other cold items. One of the best things they served was a whole pineapple that was rolled in cinnamon and sugar and cooked on a skewer and shaved off at the table. It tasted like dessert. It was delicious!
Of course dinner would not have been complete with out dessert with all of the gauchos singing happy birthday to Wade over and over, louder and LOUDER in Portuguese! It was great. He was so embarrassed!
We had a great evening. Happy birthday to my forever sweetheart. I look forward to celebrating a lifetime of birthdays with you! xoxo
