I CANNOT believe it is only one month from today that we will be on an airplane on our way to Antigua! We have been counting down the days for this, and it has been a very welcomed distraction to focus on after the miscarriage. We are so looking forward to some fun in the sun and pure relaxation!
We love to lay on the beach and just "exist". We had our share of challenges in 2010 and are glad that 2011 has been off to a much better start for us.
Mom and Dad are so kind to offer to take care of our three, four legged babies. We would much rather have them to watch the kids than to have to send them to the kennel for a week.
We really don't have any plans for the trip except for a candle light beachside dinner for two. We have talked about riding horses in the ocean again, doing the zip line or maybe a catamaran cruise. Antigua is a much safer island than Jamaica (the pictures in this post are from our honeymoon in Jamaica).
We have talked about renting a two seater moped and checking out the sights of the island like the famous Devils Bridge. We may just relax and do a whole bunch of nothing!

The week we will be there is the annual yacht week in Antigua so we may find something to do around that trip. I am so excited about this trip, I pretty much have already packed (not that you really need that much for a tropical vacation)! The one month countdown begins! Woo hoo!
Lane and I went to the Dominican Republic on our homeymoon and we were able to do a waterfall tour. It consisted of climbing 7 waterfalls and getting to slide/jump off of them on the way down. It was lots of fun! A great adventure, for sure. I don't know the lay of the land in Antigua, so I'm not sure if this is even a possibility...
