Well - things sure are different than they were when I was growing up. I know I am only 27 - but boy, things really have changed! Technology is a blessing and a curse all at the same time. So much information is out there for all to see and access, with at times, limited control on our part. Wade and I have had the 'facebook' conversation many-a-times. He recently got off because of a virus that did some not nice things to his computer. I am getting off at the end of this week because there is way too much drama out there and sometimes, chapters in your life close for a reason, and minute by minute updates on the happenings of other people's lives sometimes is just not necessary and can be counterproductive.
I have struggled with this decision as I feel facebook can be a great way to stay connected to some people. But at the same time, if you are meant to be connected to someone - you will still be connected with or with out facebook, or as my precious sister-in-law Elizabeth would say "all these technologiezzzzzzzzz". So I have done the very thing I swore I would never in a million years do - start a blog. This way I can still keep the people that I want to keep informed and up-to-date with all the happenings in the Kay Days.
I will soon post some happenings of the life Wade and I have built over the past 3 years of marriage. Most recently I will post on our annual beach trip to Litchfield by the Sea with Wade's family, our fantastic anniversary trip to Montreat/Black Mountain, our trip to Denver and our trip to Los Angeles TOMORROW to celebrate Wade's 35th birthday. Wade and I have built an amazing life together. That is something to celebrate and count in our daily gratitude's.
